Just taking a bit of a break from fashion, ad trends. I figured I wanna see something green. I love eco-friendly projects and designs. Anything using recycled materials like plastic, paper, natural materials like magnolia bark, grass etc appeals to me. So I was browsing sites for the latest trendy environment friendly designs and I stumbled across a Design Buzz article featuring Verdance.
A green structure design concept by California based Industrial Designer Jeffrey Greger. “It’s a unified system of urban structures, street lights and bus stops, which not only takes care of native plant and animal life but also tries to strike a dignified balance between architectural and organic elements. The concept lays emphasis on better role of native plants in the city’s landscape.”
Vertical gardening concept is a winner for me coz it allows growing greens in a limited space. We know how space is precious and limited in our urban centers, right? This concept has a very functional yet aesthetic appeal.
I really hope to see these wonderfully green concepts implemented soon.
