I’m not a huge fan of bridal themed editorial not because I don’t find them beautiful but mostly because I find the concept a bit overused. But when I see a really standout and unique bride themed editorial, then I’m not the one to be stingy and not appreciate it. Sometimes, it does take a bit of creativity and ingenuity to create something stunning and beautiful out of something tired and overused.

Beautiful things just begs to be appreciated and shared. Like this enchanting and ethereal spread photographed by Amber Gray featuring Valerya and styled by Rachel Leonard for the Brides magazine December 2010 issue.

It’s lovely, almost surreal. What might had been a girly and cutesy concept was turned into something so enchanting that even those who are not into girly stuff would agree that it is indeed, pretty. I found myself thinking of fairytales, enchanted gardens, ornate wall sconces, magical castles. I love the minute details, the overall look and the soft muted colors.

Definitely a visual treat. I hope to see more fashion editorials like this the next year.
