Yay! for the ardent fashion ‘watcher’ in me. Fashion houses have started releasing their Fall and Spring 2011 Collections. First one on my list to be featured is Balenciaga’s Pre-fall Collection. A bit stiff and structured but also softened by thoughtful details like furs and a nice color palette.

My fave on the collection.

Like.

I find myself torn between loving and passing this collection with just a glance. Some I found myself gagging over, some I find really beautiful. And I’m kinda liking that floral wallpaper like backdrop. It mutes the sometimes severe look. But I can’t help but be drawn to the model’s eyes, its totally distracting me, like she’s badly in need of the best daily multivitamin to put a bit of life into her eyes.

I know there are ‘artistic’ reasons for such look, but Lol! I’m no expert in fashion but I keep wishing those eyes would be less dull.
