I was browsing ThisNext for some user recommendations for modern wedding invitations and found a link to one really cool website – Modern Girl Invitations, offering modern and very chic invitations.
Err, don’t ask me why I was searching for wedding invites. Lol! I have my reasons hehe. In any case, I was really enamored by the designs on the sites, a lot of them appealing to me, since I’m really a sucker for modern, uncluttered designs.
I remember when I got married I’ve searched a lot of wedding invites suppliers and only a few of them having the minimalist designs I wanted. I didn’t want too much embellishments on my invites plus a lot of them have minimum quantity required and I only had less than a hundred in mind. So I ended up designing my own invites, printing it on ivory colored embossed paper. The only fancy detail was a silver-turquoise ribbon tying the whole thing. I got what I wanted and a lot of people asking where I had them made and getting surprised when I tell them I made them myself…
