I was browsing one of my favorite sites, the Contemporist when I saw this featured. I can’t just help by say, Ohhh! Lovely! If somebody asked me what my dream vacation house would look like, this is definitely it!
I love the modern contemporary look but it still manages to look amazingly warm and inviting. Some argue that too sleek lines of modern contemporary designs are just too cold and would be akin to living in a stainless steel drum but I love it nonetheless. It’s uncluttered, focuses on what is naturally beautiful. And the most stunning feature of this house, those gloriously stunning windows!! Uninterrupted views..I could just imagine myself cooking here..lol!
The house was designed by Spanish architect firm Cadaval & Solà-Morales and is located in Canejan, Catalonia, Spain.
What do you think? I find it so stunning, simply beautiful and just about dragged me into a few minutes of daydreaming when I could have a house like that haha! Hmmm, I love discovering wonderful architectural designs like these, and do visit the architect’s site, they’ve got a really stunningly impressive portfolio.
