I am seriously amazed at new technologies being launched here and there. It seems there’s a little something for everybody. For example just because you don’t have your upper limbs or you’re under a social security disability program, doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the benefits of using a computer.
Liu Yi designed the Toe Mouse with persons with upper limb disability or those who can’t use their hands to use a computer in mind. I love the ergonomic design and its ease of use, requiring one to just slip it on like flip flops. The sensor below the big toe acts as the left click button and the one below the second toe is the right click.
I find persons with disabilities to be really adaptable and determined folks and I’m pretty sure getting the knack of using the toe mouse would be easy for them. Technology is really for everybody..
