Who Looked Hot at the Costume Institute Gala?

Fashion and celebrity trend watching is one of those pastimes that hits me occasionally. So who looked hot in the Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC? Here’s my picks and of course, I couldn’t resist throwing in a few comments..

Emma Watson – she’s turning out to be one really fashionable lady. It does help that she’s really pretty too..

Jennifer Lopez – stunning. She sure knows how to pick gowns that has that ‘wow’ factor. Strapless princess ball gown by Zuhair Murad Haute Couture.

Taylor Swift – goddess like. White Ralph Lauren gown perfectly matches those loose locks..

Taylor Swift

Sarah Jessica Parker – I’m not a big fan but I’ve got to admin Sarah Jessica Parker is one very fashionable lady. Who else could pull off an all-electric pleated gown but the Sex and the City star?

Sarah Jessica Parker

Jessica Biel – all glamor in a Sophie Theallet for Gap gown. And of course, Justin Timberlake is the perfect accessory..

Jessica Biel

Zoe Saldana – I liked her even before she starred in Avatar and this Calvin Klein gown rocks! But I do think she’s too thin. She should be having second helpings of Krispy Kremes..

Naomi Watts – Lovely in a Stella McCartney creation.

Gwen Stefani – she always looks glam and I also like this dress from her own line, L.A.M.B. but what’s up with the tummy part? It looks awkward.

Gwen Stefani

Brooke Shields – superbly elegant in a copper-colored Michael Kors gown. Is it me or does she looks younger?

Kate Hudson – in a Stella McCartney creation. Don’t I just love that flirty slit? In photo with her is BFF’s Stella McCartney and Liv Tyler.

Kate Hudson

Anne Hathaway – gorgeous Valentino gown, gorgeous face, forgettable hair. What’s up with the hairstyle anyway, its like she ran out of time and came directly from taking a shower?

Eva Mendes – one of my favorite fashionista’s. In fact she stands out with her Dolce & Gabbana floral ensemble. You’d really need a healthy dose of fashion confidence to pull this off, but she does it beautifully..

Eva Mendes

Rachel Weisz – simple and pretty. Oscar de la Renta dress paired with perfectly complementing accessories.

Rachel Weisz

Sienna Miller – she looked hot but ssshh, I think Jude Law on her side was way hotter..

Sienna Miller

Lily Collins – pretty and very age appropriate Chanel mini dress.

Lily Collins

Diane Kruger – she’s very fashion forward and she almost always hits it right. This Calvin Klein gown could be hideous on other but she makes it look effortlessly glamorous.

Emma Roberts – cute black mini dress by Marni. But what’s up with those bony knees. Scary if you ask me..
