Ok, I must admit I’m biased. I’m a blogger so I love blogs. So I have this a bit ‘twisted’ view that people, most people anyway, love blogs. Why? For one, its personal, intimate and that for me lends a lot of credibility.
It’s also fun to read, you stumble upon amazing and humbling experiences, you find kindred spirits, people who had similar experiences and who are going through what you are going through. I read someone call blogs before as the real internet diaries. Indeed, it is! You discover fun things, stuff you wouldn’t be able to find just by yourself, now there are bloggers who are searching and sharing this with you.
That’s just what I find so amazing about blogs. Sharing of information. I don’t want to get into copyright mumbo jumbo coz really I know next to nothing about it, what I mean is that it totally amazes me that I mostly keep myself updated now through blogs. I love reading opinions, reviews, whatnots about trends, politics, entertainment. It just makes the whole world wide web experience less clinical and richer and fun filled!
The web is really evolving into something that makes reacheing out and getting connected a lot easier. With social networking and blogs, its just a lot easier to stay connected and updated. Knowing more about something is a breeze, I could just do a bit of searching say for eczema treatment and come upon sites like www.eczematreatment.org but if I want to read about personal experiences about this, I prefer to look for blogs, via blog search engines.
Blogging and blogs I must say is just a little past infancy and now into its toddler stage and I’m excited at the prospect of seeing this ‘blogging phenomenon’ grow. More blogs please and more power to bloggers!
